Together with friends and family, I was able to secure the necessary funds to create this public work of art for the entire community to enjoy. I also had the opportunity to collaborate with a professional muralist (Denny Abraham) in 2022 on earlier pieces, making this an ongoing journey of artistic expression and cultural preservation

Over 100 Garifuna children took part in a fun afternoon of cultural exploration and arts and crafts, nurturing their creativity while deepening their connection to their rich heritage.
